(SLA)
SLA parts are perfect for fast form, fit and functional
prototypes.
The SLA ® process uses a UV laser to photo-cure a variety of
epoxy-based resins to "grow" 3D objects layer-by-layer
from 3D electronic data (STL files). Because it is an additive process
highly complex geometries can be built with assistance from support
structures that are easily removed without adverse effect. The key
advantage of SLA ® is its ability to rapidly produce highly
detailed models with exceptional aesthetic qualities.

Somos
9120 (PDF)
DSM Somos® 9120 is an amber colored resin used to simulate flexible plastics like polypropylene. (Runs in 3500 machine only)
Somos 11122
(PDF)
DSM Somos WaterShed XC 11122 is nearly colorless resin that produces strong, tough, water-resistant, ABS-like
parts. (Runs in 3500 machine only)
Somos 10122 (PDF)
DSM Somos WaterClear® Ultra 10122 is a next generation
optically clear resin with ABS-like properties and good temperature
resistance. It produces colorless, functional, accurate parts that
simulate acrylic appearance. (Runs in 250 machine only)

Aerosport Finish Levels:
Finish Level 1 :
Strip N' Ship.
Parts are removed from the machine supports are removed and the parts are shipped.
Finish Level 2 :
For short turn around.
All build layers sanded smooth on appearance side and a light bead blasting for uniform surfaces.
Finish Level 3 :
Ready for paint.
All build layers sanded smooth; appearance surfaces finish sanded with a fine grit and primed.
Finish Level 4 :
Painted part for appearance models.
All build layers sanded smooth; surfaces finish sanded with a fine grit and primed. Parts are painted with a paint and texture of your choice.
